Olha Bereza (aka Holley Dovetail)

Writer, psychologist, journalist, and actress, I am the author of the radio play Expats. Expaths. Episodes, the novelette Silver Lining, and children's books including Four Seasons of Green Land and Ukrainian Paws and Whiskers on the Island.

Writing in Russian, Ukrainian, and English, I am passionate about storytelling in all its forms, from theatre and acting to screenplays and children's literature. My work has been featured in anthologies across the USA, UK, and Ukraine. One of my proudest achievements is my contribution to the book project "Ob Etom Govoryat" (They Are Talking About This), an anthology of texts by multilingual authors, which won the 2013 Book of the Year Award in Dnipro, Ukraine.

Currently based on the Isle of Wight, I focus on children's alternative education. As a member of the London Group of Multilingual Writers, I organize weekly online creative writing classes for teenagers, nurturing their imagination and creative expression.
