Today, millions of people are on the move because of war, dispossession, and political persecution. Millions of people move in search of a better life. How do we change when we move? What do the places and people that we lose or encounter add to our understanding of who we are? What does the experience of (im)migration can tell us of being human in the 21st century?
We seek short stories, essays, and novel excerpts, focusing on various aspects of life in immigration and featuring a strong sense of place. We welcome stories that are well-written, original, with a keen eye for detail and depth of observation.
